History of Age of Nether
4th era - The formation of Kingdoms
Not much is know by scholars before this point, but leading scholars believe that this is when humans finally recovered from a great catastrophic.
5th era (500e) - Time of Peace
This is the time before the Gods known as Mortem and Vita ruled over man and the land masses were very different. not much is known about this time due to the lack of archeological remains after the world wipe conducted by the gods. During this time it is believed that most humans were at relative peace with one another.
6th era (600e) - The Great War
The Gods known as Mortem and Vita changed and altered the land to form new lands and set up laws that humans must follow. This event we called the world wipe, where all the world masses up-heaved and became something new. Many cities if not all were catastrophically destroyed.
7th era (700e) - The Gods Will
During this time the war between Mortem and Vita intensives and many losses on either side wreck the landscape. the population follow their gods blindly into battle with no end in sight. It's during this time that Mortem gains some sort of a side god that assists him in gaining intelligence to defeat Vita.
8th era (800e) - The Divide
In a struggle for power over the land Mortem gains access to a power unlike anything either side had ever witnessed. This power was said to be located within a natural area off limits to both Mortem's and Vita's followers, yet Mortem took the this power for himself anyways. Little is known about what this power is but stories pasted down by survivors say that by Mortems neglect the weapon was misused and lead to a massive explosion destroying both continents. In the after math of this explosion little fighting could be done due to the ability to stay alive longer then a few hours. The survivors have said quote "We just kept meeting the daylight and darkness over and over, the sight was as if we were ants looking into a bright, foggy, ever expanding room." It's unclear as to what the population at this time saw, but we know that what ever it was was to powerful for their bodies to withstand. It's also said that it was this event that permanently damaged our realm, which lead to certain lost monsters becoming trapped within our plane. Many scholars believe this is where what they call The Guardian of the Lost originated.
9th era (900e) - Time of Gods
It was sometime in this era that the Goddess, Novi came down to remove Mortem and Vita from their thrones. She helped humans rebuild the planet and left the Libraries of Novi filled with knowledge that one day we would be able to understand. It's unclear how Novi rescued the population but she did so swiftly. Many followers of both side had been under Mortem and Vita rule so so long that there was much confusion over what to think of this new Goddess Novi.
10th era (1000e) - War of Demons
Growing contentment towards the new Goddess Novi by the followers of both Mortem and Vita began to reach a boiling point. Large riots of Motem and Vita followers began to attack Novi's followers demanding Mortem and Vita to return. Novi requires her followers to battle and crush the rebellion and Novi's followers dominated a swift victory using very powerful magic. After the rebellions had been defeated and truce between the remaining Vita's and Mortems had been reached.
11th era (1100e) - The Great Banishment ----- Update needed past this point (Tired need sleep) XD
Novi leaves and declares that Gods shall no longer interfere with Humans and that she has left gifts for us when we are ready to have them. She blesses Humans and leaves. At this point there is great confusion because Gods had been a part of live for so long.
12th era (1200e)
The Mage War: Humans seek power and Relics left by the Gods and begin a Power struggle to pick up what the Gods left behind. Great Mages rose up, some good some bad. All wanted the power to rule as Kings.
1300 era (1300e)
Death of Magic: Great Mages Won the world over. The effects of Mortem and Vita still could be Felt. Three Great Mages wielding terrible power rules the land for beyond their lifetimes. The People and councils fear these 3 kings and all magic. A crusade is started to destroy all Magic and those who use it.
14th era (1400e)
Current Era: Magic is Dead. it's been gone for many years. What little relics are left have been hidden away. The Gifts of Novi have had the blessings of staying safe-ish for now. The worshipers of Novi have been weakened by time and no longer remember her teachings. The Gods have become a distant memory. Those who seek the power of the Gods do so for their own gain and 3 Kingdoms still rush for what little Magic/Relics are left.

Vampire Lore
Yes lore about why vampires will be here later...
Werewolf Lore
EirWolves are a race of humans that are the decadence of the people of Vita from the time of the Great war. Vampires were created by Mortem as super human warriors and Eir's were created by Vita in retaliation. Eire's are humans super powered wolf hybrids that can transform or keep which ever form they choose whether it be wolf or Human for long durations.
Werewolves are people who have been accidentally infected by the Eir's. Eir's are the equivalent to a pure form while Werewolves are an accidental by product of infection. Werewolves do not posses all the abilities of Eir's nor their level of control.

WereWolves Basic
Since the beginning of the infection, werewolves have developed into three clans, each with their own ideals and way of living.
* WitherFang
* BloodMoon
* SilverMane
When you look up at the sky during the night, the moon is a heavy impact on every werewolf. Each cycle is tracked with the /ww command, and on the beginning of every (8 day) week, a full moon occurs.
During a full moon, no werewolf will be able to control themselves. As soon as moonlight is cast on them, they show their true forms and level up, growing a little stronger each full moon cycle and raising their level.
Werewolves drop all equipment on transformation, so remember to be mindful where you are around the full moon. Werewolves also can only eat meat, and get hurt by gold and silver weapons. If a werewolf holds a silver sword, they will be hurt greatly.
Each level gained, makes the werewolf stronger. Depending on the level set in the config.yml file, the werewolf will learn a new ability.
Intent to Infect:
When activated with /ww intent, your chances of infecting another player with the werewolf infection is greatly increased when attacking them.
No Armor Drop:
During transformations, instead of dropping armor it is simply moved to a free slot in the inventory.
Scent Tracking:
Once activated with /ww track, the werewolf will move slowly with their eyes closed (given by Blindness effect) and will begin to see a trail that leads to the target they have previously marked by right-clicking on them whilst in wolf form.
Free Transformation:
At this point, the werewolf has fully learned how to control their form. Using /ww transform, the werewolf can transform at any time. Werewolves under this level will be forced back into human form if outside during the day. (There is a 20 minute cooldown under default settings.)
Gold Immunity:
Normally, gold swords deal x2 damage on werewolves. However, high leveled werewolves become immune to this.
Pack Call:
At low health, using /ww howl will also summon a pack of wolves to aid you in your fight. (To be implemented soon!)
There are three custom potions that revolve around the werewolf infection. And there is a sword that does much more damage on werewolves than normal swords. (Due to a new item ID system being implemented from 1.1 and onward, all old items from below Werewolves 1.1 will no longer work. You must create the items again if you wish to use them.)
Trackers
Vampire Trackers will only target a vampire if they have their PVP on, not in spawn, and if it's night time. Werewolf Trackers will only target a werewolf they have their PVP on, not in spawn, and in their wolf form. You can craft a Vampire Tracker or Werewolf Tracker with the following recipes:
Washed Armor
This is the first step in purifying armor so there is a chance for the vampire and werewolf infections to not infect the wearer. You must wash diamond armor into washed armor:
Purified Armor
This is the last step in purifying armor so when you have a full set, you will NEVER be infected by those pesky vampires and werewolves. You must scorch the washed armor into purified armor. But be warned! There is a very high chance it'll just burn to ashes.
Ash
Don't be fooled, ashes are pretty much useless gunpowder.
